• My father and Nikolas appeared to have things they wanted to talk about so I excused them and took a turn around the house.
• There were lots of changes when I entered my childhood bedroom. For instance, my mother had replaced all the pictures of my brother and me with artistic wall decorations. The blanket my brother got me for my sixteenth birthday which made me feel safe had been replaced by a cotton-like one.
