• Danny stared out the window of his high-tech apartment, the city of ExpecArc Circuit sprawled out below him like a vast, glittering machine. The streets buzzed with activity, yet there was a cold detachment to it all. The people moved with purpose but without connection, each one absorbed in their own world.
• “Time to make a difference,” Danny muttered to himself, trying to summon the enthusiasm he had felt in Magnifico Arco. He took a deep breath and turned away from the window, determined to bring a touch of warmth and community to this isolated world.
