• After all the commotion and nervousness about the tests and the results, Zebeu leaves the farm after prescribing some medications for Cateline. Everyone still couldn't believe what had happened, especially Lucinda.
• "I'm going to start sewing some baby clothes! Knitting some booties and plush toys too!" Lucinda was excited, as if the child were hers. Cateline knew more than everyone else that it would be necessary to set boundaries for her sister sooner or later. She feared what Luci might be capable of doing to gain the attention of her beloved Helton, especially after hearing that plan that came out of her sister's mouth abruptly after finding out about the child.
