• Now that Sly had returned, Thodoris would need to take a back seat in Sandra’s life again. As she navigated her day, thoughts of Sly swirling in her mind, a sense of misery clung to her. Sly’s actions and words seemed to tighten the invisible chains around her, leaving her to wonder what on earth she had gotten herself into when she declared, “Consequences be damned.”
• Expecting T-T Max to pick her up, a new guy named Cave was confirmed as the driver. She hopped into the car and drove away to Gry State. Midway through, Sandra called Sly to vent her frustration. She had classes the next day, making a trip to Gry State a total impossibility.
