• Confronted with an appetite that surpassed his own, Sly found it challenging to keep up. Despite having one final test remaining, an additional course suggested by his mother, he left the house accompanied by Sandra and picked up Joe on the way. After dropping Sly off on campus, Sandra became the recipient of a brief shopping trip.
• As Joe drove past with Sandra, Cathy observed, her fury evident as she muttered, "sh*t" to a friend. A couple of thousands down, Sandra began to feel restless. Unaware of the tumultuous battle within Sandra's mind, Joe tried to comfort her, assuring her that Sly would be done writing in no time.
