Chapter 31

• Harper felt Wyatt' gasps slowly subside. His quick breaths slowed as they tickled her ears. He removed his fingers, moving one hand towards her back and the other to her legs.
• She lay there in his arms as he carried her to the tub, raising her head to look at the pearly white ceiling that reminded her of daisies as she recovered from the pleasure. It felt so good that her mind had gone nearly blank. She didn't even know how she got into the bathtub. She just felt the warm bathwater gently surrounding her body.
• "I want to apologize again for my lack of self-control, Harper. Just… Please don't be afraid of me. I won't hurt you. I'd never hurt you," Wyatt whispered in her ear.
