Chapter 38

• After a short trip, we arrived home. Although Arthur is still a bit tense, he drove carefully, as he always does when Angel is in the car. He doesn't usually drive fast and pays close attention to traffic.
• Arthur carefully takes Angel out of his seat and gently rests his head on his shoulder, as Angel l fell asleep during the ride.
• Arthur moves quickly and silently opens the door, saying nothing. He takes Angel l to his room and lays him down in his crib.
