• "What, too good to visit the residence? I bet it's because Summer is unloved; that useless man wouldn't want to come here," one neighbor sneered, her voice dripping with disdain.
• "That's true enough. Even though he's impotent, at least he's a high-ranking and extraordinarily esteemed CEO. He wouldn't bother with someone like Summer, a tainted woman whose mother cheated," another chimed in, their words laced with venom.
• "Right! Her mother was an ungrateful wretch. Kennard had nothing but kindness for her. Little did he know she dared to cheat on him. It's no wonder Summer is also of poor character. It's only natural that she wouldn't win a man's affection!"
