Chapter 4 Who Hit Tristan Nick? Iii
- CHAPTER FOUR
- (Who hit Tristan Nick? III)
- Amelia's POV
- "Scott Cedric is the youngest of the boys. He is charming, has cute boyish looks and is the perfect definition of a happy camper. He is so likeable and fun to be with. Scott is a singer. You need to hear him sing one of these days. He sings so well. He's also a very popular singer with a large fanbase. You can also check him out on his social media accounts. He has millions of online followers.
- Tristan Nick is the second member of the boy group. Like I had earlier told you, he is the school director's only son. He is so gorgeous and goodlooking. Tristan is the most expensive out of the four. He is always wearing one expensive brand or the other. He is the second richest in the clique. He is feared because no one dare mess with him. Since his father dots on him a lot, he uses this to his advantage by sacking teachers who do not do things in his way. He openly flaunts the school rules and overrides the regulations. That's Tristan Nick for you." she paused.
- "Wow!" I simply said, low-key enjoying the conversation. A part of me was curious to know about the starlights.
- Betty cleared her throat and continued.
- "The third member of the clique is Alexander Craig."
- I interrupted her with excitement. "Wait! You mean the popular basketballer?" I asked, looking at her with curiosity.
- Betty nodded in affirmation. I squealed with happiness at the revelation. I had always been a fan of Alexander Craig. He plays basketball and his great skills had earned him fame, putting him in the spotlight. I couldn't believe that I was attending the same school with one of my favorite celebrities.
- Betty looked at me with a smile. "Well, I guess you already know who Alexander Craig is. He is the most unpredictable out of the clique. Although he is easygoing, he can be quite cold. A lot of people thinks that Ryan Lewis is the hottest in the clique but to me, Alexander is the hottest." she concluded with a blush.
- My eyes didn't miss the look of shyness on her face as she made the last statement. I said nothing and patiently waited for her to continue with her narration.
- "Although, the starlights do not have a leader, Ryan Lewis is considered to be the leader of the boy group. Ryan is the only heir to Phoenix groups."
- I gasped in surprise. Phoenix groups was the biggest conglomerate in Los Angeles. The Lewis were known to be wealthy, influential and powerful.
- "Ryan is the coldest, richest and the most sophisticated among the boys. He is usually referred to as a cold fish. He doesn't come to school everyday yet, he gets good grades. He is the top student of Lilyviles High School.
- No one dare messes with him and go scot-free. He hardly talks to people. The only people he communicates with are his friends. To be honest, Ryan is so hot and literally every girl's crush."
- I scoffed at the last remark.
- "Every girl's crush my foot!" I muttered with an eye roll.
- Betty shrugged.
- "Well... you'll see for yourself as time goes by. So basically, the starlights are the idols of Lilyviles High School. There are other popular cliques like the EVA girls, the pacesetters and so on. The EVA girls are the most popular girls in this school. They are cheerleaders. You'll definitely know more about them.
- For a peaceful stay in this school, please avoid any form of clash with the EVA girls." Betty appealed with a tone of concern.
- I felt my stomach churn with disgust as I listened to Betty. The fact that some sets of students were greatly idolized by the other students irritated me. I didn't give a hoot about whatever clique. Now that my dream had come to reality, I wasn't going to let that precious opportunity slip through my fingers.
- I just wanted to be done with high school and proceed to the university.
- Betty looked at her wristwatch in panic.
- "Ooops! I'm late for class. See ya!" she waved and hurriedly skipped off to the direction of the laboratory.
- Since I was all alone to myself, I had to navigate my way through to my class. My eyes caught a small signpost with 'Class Blue' boldly inscribed on it. There was a big classroom behind it. I immediately knew it was my class.
- "That will be all for today guys." A man was addressing them when I walked in. Curious gazes were fixated on me.
- "Good day sir. I'm Amelia Brown, a new student." I introduced myself.
- The man adjusted his eyeglasses and spoke with a smile. He had a bald pate and gimlet eyes.
- "Oh! You must be the new student Principal Welms told me about. You are welcome to Lilyviles High School. I'm Peter Noel, the class teacher for class Blue." he explained with kindness while I nodded in understanding, taking an instant liking to him.
- He faced the class and pointed to me. "Miss Amelia, please introduce yourselves to your new classmates."
- "Hi guys, I'm Amelia Brown, your new classmate. I hope we get along with each other." I said with a smile.
- Only a few of the students cared to listen to what I had to say. The classroom was filled with indifferent students. Some of them had their headphones on, some were busy with their phones, a girl who sat in a corner far from me and taking a selfie, another was busy with painting her face with some brushes of cosmetics. I ignored them.
- "Rude brats!" I thought to myself.
- I heard Mr Peter sigh.
- "Talk to you later Miss Amelia. The class president will attend to you. I have a class right now." he explained, picking up a pile of books and walked out of the classroom.
- The class became more noisy at his departure. I took a quick glance at the class for an empty seat. There was a number of empty seats in the classroom and luckily for me, my name was boldly inscribed one of the seats. The seats were made with fine leather and colour and made in such a way that gave the students comfort.
- I walked to my seat, ignoring the loud chatter behind me. I carefully tucked my backpack into the locker. I hadn't sat for so long when a frail-looking, tall guy approached me. He had arched cheekbones and taut skin.
- He outstretched his right hand for a handshake while he introduced himself.
- "Hi, I'm Gerald Neil." he said, beaming with friendly smiles.
- I smiled back and shook his hand.
- "You must be the class president." I said, half guessing.
- "You're right." he responded. "I welcome you to class Blue."
- "Thank you." I simply responded.
- Gerald was about to say another word when the class speaker sounded, attracting the attention of everyone.
- The class totally became silent. There were questioning looks on the faces of everyone, wondering what was up.
- My heart skipped a beat when I heard my name.
- "Miss Amelia Brown, your attention is urgently needed at the director's office. This is due to your gross misconduct earlier this morning. Come in the company of your class president." The anonymous voice sounded.
- The order was repeated twice then the speaker went off.
- I frowned, wondering what gross misconduct I had engaged myself in. I scoffed when my mind went to the morning's scenario.
- "It had better not be that. Calling that a gross misconduct is totally ridiculous." I muttered with a tone of disapprobation.
- Gerald looked at me with sympathy.
- "I guess you are in trouble on your first day at school."
