Chapter 43 An Attempt To Kill

• When Mishka saw Christian running in her direction, she knitted her eyebrows, but then she heard some crackling sound. Her eyes travelled to the ceiling, and she saw that the massive silver voluminous crystal chandelier was halfway down.
• Fear washed over her. She was so terrified that she stood still in her place and didn’t even try to back away. “This is the end of my life!” She thought and closed her eyes. Images of the person she desired to meet appeared in front of her eyes.
• But before the chandelier could hit her, Daniel held her wrist and yanked her back. Because of her high pointed heels, Mishka tripped and fell on the floor beside Daniel.
