Chapter 265 Beginning Of The Story

  • I was sitting at the window of my room, holding my diary and was looking over the pilgrimages and devotees walking to the ghats for evening prayer, chanting Hail Shiva loudly. My days were filled with running from one doctor to another, one hospital to another and my night were spent on the wooden chair sitting beside Aryan, looking at his lifeless body on the bed, watching him breathing through the oxygen mask.
  • My saving was running out. My teacher strictly told me they wouldn’t let me give the final year exams if I failed to comply with the attendance percentage. I lost my part-time job, as I failed to juggle between Aryan’s doctor appointments and my shift.
  • Despite knowing that I might not appear this year. I tried to cover up the syllabus of final exams; I mortgaged our house and sold my mother’s jewellery to raise money for his costly treatment, but still, it was not enough.
