• At Mathew’s House,
• “Tomorrow is the wedding, and yet we have planned nothing to stop it.” Sitting on the settee, Berry said worriedly to her husband Dan and to her son Jake.
• Dan also sat beside her. “I don’t think any of our plans will work now.
