Chapter 35 Harmless Joke
- I TOOK big steps to get out of the bar and to get a taxi. Unfortunately, there was no vehicle passing by. I glanced down at my wristwatch only to find out how long I had been wasting my time here. I sighed and looked upon the sky full of regrets.
- The sky was tar-black, and the clouds were gloomy. “No, not now please . . .” I murmured.
- The wind rose up, and the tinkling sounds came to my ears as the first pearl of the rain dropped onto the floor.
