• As Carol wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled herself closer to me, my wolf was practically panting in my mind. He had missed our mate and being with her right now as driving him crazy. All he wanted was to put his mark on her again and again until the entire world knew who this woman belonged to.
• I ran my fingers through her hair, feeling the softness running through my fingertips and tickling the palm of my hand.
