• Aiden pulled out his phone immediately after I told him it was Morgan who had me kidnapped. I wasn’t sure what he was doing or who he was calling, but my heart thudded against my chest wildly with fear as he pressed the phone to his cheek.
• “Oliver,” he greeted into the phone. “I need you to look for Morgan Leveau…” he paused, and I waited with bated breath. “Yeah, she was the one who kidnapped Carol…” Another pause. “I’m not sure, but I’m going to find out.”
