• Raquel stood there, silent. She hated haunted houses, and she was sure she wouldn’t be able to sleep after this. She had seen the ghosts clearly, and they had scared her to death. Gavin and Damian hadn’t screamed or even been surprised. They’d just stayed calm, as if it were all a trick.
• Gavin had been busy trying to calm her down. He’d even told her to stop screaming so loud a few times. Raquel hadn’t cared about his scoldings.
