• Raquel awoke early to an empty mansion - Gavin and Arnold already gone. Still sleepy, she shuffled downstairs to brew coffee and chop vegetables for her grandmother’s chicken soup recipe, a favorite she hadn’t enjoyed in ages. The remembered flavor made her crave it, and she wanted to share it with Damian.
• After quickly cooking and showering to clear her head, her thoughts unfortunately drifted to yesterday’s incident. Facing today seemed impossible but she had no choice.
