Chapter 13 Trapped In Anxienty
- Two days had passed since their heated argument that fateful afternoon, and an uncharacteristic sense of anxiety began to consume Gavin. He couldn’t quite fathom the source of his unease, but a deep and overwhelming concern for Raquel had taken hold of his heart.
- The day before yesterday, Raquel had skipped both lunch and dinner, and her seclusion continued into the following day as she remained confined to her room. Today, however, she emerged from her self-imposed isolation. Concerned, Karl revealed that Raquel had shown no interest in the food he had brought to her room, leaving it untouched.
