• Leo had been on a business trip for a week, but as soon as he heard that his wife, Rachel, was sick, he immediately wrapped up his trip and headed back home. The flight was a long one, but Leo's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Rachel. He considered getting her a gift, but he knew that she wasn't a materialistic woman.
• When he finally arrived at their home, her mother welcomed him inside. She made herself scarce, leaving Leo alone to be with his wife. He walked into the bedroom and placed the bouquet of flowers he had brought for Rachel on the bedside table. He then sat down on the edge of the bed and gazed at his sleeping wife.
