Chapter 4

• Williams was Rachel‘s best friend in high school. They have always been together through their time in high school and everyone knows them.
• “Hey I will beat you to a pulp if you don't come to class today”, Rachel warned
• Williams who is still on his bed.
• He decided not to attend classes that day because he is too lazy. Rachel’s frustration grew as he refused to answer her. She decided to do one thing, call his father to report him. “I am calling your dad now”,
• She threatened, Williams jumped down from the bed almost immediately. “You are not gonna do that”, He said running Helter-skelter to dress up.
• Rachel plastered a big smile on her face as she recalled some of her high school moments with Williams. It was her fault that they lost contact with each other. She decided to travel abroad all of a sudden because of her father’s death which traumatized her a lot.
• She stood up and as they were about to hug in excitement, Leo cleared his throat and she regained her posture.
• “Is she trying to hug another man in front of her future husband?’’.
• “I have checked your credentials and I am pleased to inform you that you are not welcome here’’ He said for the 10th time today. dropping her credentials on the table. He said the same thing to all the interviewers today.
• Her heart sank as she carried her credentials from his table.
• “I will see you later Williams”, she said in a sad tone walking out of the office.
• “Rachel wait..”, Williams called but she was too moody to turn back.
• “I know you might think this is not right Leo but I know her. She is capable of whatever job you have for her”, Williams said to Leo who is now busy with his phone.
• “And you do not expect me to hire her just because you know her right?” he said, raising his brows.
• Williams sighed, “Okay then, let her work for you for just seven days and if you are dissatisfied with her work, then you let her go. I will talk to her”, He insisted. Leo tried to refuse but Williams pleaded and reluctantly agreed.
• “Thanks, man”, Williams said, running after Rachel who just left. He saw her trying to get in the elevator.
• “Wait, Rachel!”He yelled her name and she was surprised he followed her.
• “Let’s talk”, he grabbed her hand and they ran down the stairs to the company’s Cafeteria.
• A FEW MINUTES LATER
• Leo came down to the cafeteria with his guards. Everyone in the Cafeteria rarely sits whenever he comes to the restaurant.
• Although he has never said anything at the cafeteria, his presence threatens them a lot.
• He eats alone in a separate area with curtains drawn behind him. This is also to conceal his identity as usual. Williams came over to him after he finished talking to Rachel.
• He drew the Curtains and sat in front of him. He is the only person that has seen Leo’s face so far. Williams is a cool-headed guy.
• He became Leo’s best friend six years ago and they have been inseparable since. The first time they met was in a restaurant where Leo’s mom forgot her wallet and picked him up.
• He searched for her using his ID card in his wallet, eventually meeting with her. Leo was distant at first but he eventually warmed up to Williams. He is the only person he can rely on.
• “She is ready to prove it to you”, Williams said with confidence.
• Leo scoffed.
• “I am being serious here”, He said. He suddenly received a phone call and worked out to answer.
• Rachel still could not believe what happened today. She thought she had lost the job forever thanks to the arrogant boss but her savior, Williams, was there to help her as always.
• She thought smiling to herself. She could not hide her joy as she got down from the bus.
• She rushed home, running as though her life depended on it to inform her. She badged into the house.
• “Mom!”, she said, trying to find her mother.
• “I'm in the kitchen sweetie,” Madeline shouted from the Kitchen.
• “I did not pass the interview but I was given seven days trying to prove myself”,
• She screamed with excitement.
• “Wow..i'm so happy for you. Now you need to work harder”, Her mother said as they hugged each other.
• “Someone is waiting for you in your room.
• Hurry”, She added.
• “Who?”, Rachel asked with a confused look on her face.
• “I Cannot tell you, it is a surprise”, Madeline said with excitement.
• Rachel hesitantly walks upstairs to her room.
• She is curious and eager to know the person, but at the same time scared to see who the person will be. She held the doorknob and turned it gently, opening the door slowly.
• She gaped at the person sitting on the bed.
• “Is this how you react after not seeing your bestie for a long time? ”, the girl with blonde hair said.
• “Celine!!!!!!”Rachel screamed at the top of her voice as she rushed into Celine’s hands.
