• About fifteen minutes later, the doctor checks on Gia and gives her the okay to leave. In the meantime, I text Brandi to tell her Gianna will stay with us, but she doesn’t reply, so I can only assume she’s still sleeping, which means this will be a surprise when she wakes up.
• Gianna and I head over to her house to grab some clothes before heading home.
