• I was soaked in my thoughts as Gerald drove down the busy streets of Los Angeles, heading to my house. He had offered to take me home after I went back to the cafeteria to meet him.
• I texted Liam and he said he was okay with it. However, a part of me was silently wishing he would protest and offer to take me home like old times. My head found its way to the headrest, as my thoughts got filled with a lot of questions.
