- The pout on Lislie's lips and the repeated glances through the rearview mirror were enough to convey that something funny was going through her mind. We had collided in the hallway, just as Gerald got an important call that demanded home immediately. I just hoped everything was okay because the call really sounded urgent.
- Well, that was how I ended up being taken home by Lislie and facing her questioning glances. There was more to those glances than meets the eye. The more reason I was regretting why I didn't sit in the passenger seat, the staring would have been minimal.
