Chapter 8 You're Dirty
- Hmm, this voice sounds familiar.
- Winnie turned around and saw the person, unable to resist smiling, "Thomas."
- Thomas Nash, the twin brother of her best friend, Kelly Nash, had a sunny and handsome appearance. The man spoke softly and loved to smile. Winnie had always treated him like a brother.
- "Why are you alone?" He smiled and sat beside her, ordering a drink as well.
- "Kelly hasn't returned to the country yet, so I don't have anyone to accompany me," she answered, raising her lips. "What about you, Thomas? Why are you here?"
- Winnie, who had been drinking, lost her usual grace and instead appeared particularly adorable and charming. Upon seeing her disheveled hair, Thomas reached out and smoothed it, "Meeting a client."
- She leaned on the table, gazing at the liquid in the glass gleaming under the light, shimmering with beautiful reflections. She murmured, "Do you think a person's patience has limits?"
- Thomas could sense that Winnie was feeling down and in a bad mood, but he didn't feel it was appropriate to ask for the reason. He simply said softly, "Of course. Unless your heart is dead and without hope, then you would never set any limit for your patience."
- "Is that so?" Winnie turned to look at him, her eyes slightly red and moist.
- ...
- Meanwhile, on the other side, Lisa picked out all the chili peppers, cilantro, and peppercorns and then placed the dish in front of Jonathan. She smiled softly and complained, "If I have to take care of you like this for the rest of my life, I would be exhausted."
- Jonathan absentmindedly grunted. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his phone screen light up. He unlocked his phone, and instantly, his expression darkened upon seeing the photo on it.
- At ten o'clock in the evening, when Winnie arrived at the entrance of the villa, she noticed that the living room light was on. She entered the password to unlock the door, and as soon as she stepped inside, she saw the man standing by the floor-to-ceiling window.
- She never expected that Jonathan would come back again, and so early at that. He stood there like a statue, silent, with a gloomy and inscrutable expression.
- So, she wondered how long he had been standing there. He couldn't have seen the scene earlier when Thomas escorted her back, could he?
- Winnie thought to herself that she had already resolved the matters of the board of directors, so Jonathan had no reason to get angry at her again. Besides, she didn't have the energy to engage in extensive communication with him.
- Therefore, she took off her high heels, changed into cotton slippers, and said casually, "Mr. Foster, did you come back so early today to wait for me?"
- As soon as she entered, there was a strong smell of alcohol in the air. Jonathan's face became even darker, his eyes icy.
- "Besides having no shame, you also have no self-respect. Now, you're delusional," he snapped coldly.
- Winnie smiled indifferently, choosing not to say a word. She turned around to go upstairs, but her wrist was caught by Jonathan, who forcefully pulled her back.
- He used a lot of force, and she felt like her bones were about to be crushed. She immediately became angry and asked, "What are you doing?"
- "Do you really need a man so desperately? Will you die if you don't have relationships with other men?" he said angrily, his pitch-black eyes filled with disgust and disdain.
- From the moment she entered until now, in just a few minutes, he had continuously insulted her with the most despicable names, wishing to trample her underfoot and crush her like garbage.
- Winnie was furious, and she laughed mirthlessly, meeting his gaze, and provocatively mentioned, "A married woman who still seeks extramarital affairs only does that for two reasons: either her husband is unable to satisfy her, or her husband is having an affair and neglecting her. Guess the reason I'm doing this for."
- Jonathan clearly didn't expect her to answer like this. He was stunned for a few seconds before realizing that her retort was just a way of indirectly admitting that she was indeed involved with other men.
- Instantly, his anger surged, and he threw her onto the couch, gripping her slender shoulders with great force, using enough strength to crush her. His eyes filled with a sinister glare as he uttered three words, "You're truly disgusting!"
