Chapter 4 Almost Losing Control
- "..."
- Winnie was taken aback. In the past, Jonathan might have been a troublemaker, but it was always outside of the company, and he had never crossed the line at the corporate level.
- But now, it seemed as though he was blinded by love. He openly brought his mistress into the company and even gave her such an important position.
- Winnie didn't care about their relationship or whether they were deeply in love, but he did something so significant with so many people watching them. Is he disrespecting my family?
- If my parents were watching this scene from heaven, what would they think?
- Jonathan trampled on her dignity, exposed her deepest wound, and forced her to face the harsh reality.
- Her heart felt as though it was tied by a thread. One little pull would make it ache.
- "Miss Thompson, we might see each other every day from now on, so let's hope for a pleasant cooperation." Lisa smiled and walked into the president's office in high heels.
- Even when the assistant, Susan, ran up to her, Winnie was still numb and hadn't snapped out of it.
- "Miss Thompson, are you okay?"
- There was no color on her face, and Susan was very worried. She reached out and touched Winnie's forehead.
- The cold touch made Winnie suddenly snap out of it. When she looked down at her wristwatch, she realized that her palm was marked with red imprints from her own nails.
- She had almost lost control just now. This wasn't good. She thought that recently, she had been easily angered for no reason, especially when facing Jonathan...
- Maybe she was just too tired.
- "I'm fine." She waved her hand and walked towards her office.
- "The old guys caused quite a scene this time. What should we do?"
- "We'll deal with the problems as they come. Haven't we seen this kind of situation before? Even if they scold us again, I'm used to it!"
- The office desk was once again filled with various complaint documents. Winnie frowned and sighed, "I'm a director, not customer service. Give these to the customer service department, not my desk."
- Susan pouted, "It's all because of Mr. Lancaster. He said that all these complaints were caused by your personal conduct and that you should handle them yourself."
- Winnie couldn't help but laugh out of anger. She casually picked up one of the documents, "So, the problem with the internal testing of the product is also caused by my personal conduct?"
- Susan couldn't help but laugh as well.
- "Miss Thompson."
- "Hmm?"
- Susan hesitated to speak.
- Winnie looked up at her and said, "Go ahead, what's the matter?"
- Susan swallowed nervously and approached with a smile, "Why don't you try talking to the president? After all, you're husband and wife. He wouldn't just stand by and do nothing. What do you think?"
