Chapter 26 Grace's woes

• Chris looked at his newly promoted Betas as they read out the reports. He gave a damn about what his pack thought about him. He was their alpha. Furthermore, he had absolute power. Heck, even the holy moon was on his side.
• Gregory Byrne and Thomas Grant bowed slightly as they finished reading out the reports. Chris smiled at them; he had demoted Scott Murdoch, and other older betas, to lower ranks. He only kept two of these betas around him. They supported his quest and were loyal to him. His goal was to make Rosalie his mistress, take over the Greystone pack and enlarge his territory.
• Gregory and Thomas were ambitious wolves, they knew how to rise through calculated moves. They also knew how to flatter their Alpha with lofty ideas. They had already started scheming with Chris.
