• Rosalie was still reeling by the revelations.
• "But why is he doing this? Why is he taking out his anger on my family? I don't understand this." Rosalie flung her arms around her mother, gripping her tightly.
• "I think it's pretty obvious that he's doing this to vent his anger on your family because he lost you," Melissa answered, "And Grace demoted your mother so that it would be easier for Chris to demote your father too. Even Martin has been assigned guard duties rather than his beta duties."
