- The double doors of a mansion on the outskirts of town were pushed open and Salvatore walked in. The guards bowed on seeing him and the maids led him to the study where a man clad in black sat awaiting him.
- “Greetings, father." Salvatore greeted and lowered his head in acknowledgment.
- The man in black lazily nodded, refusing to say a word.
