Chapter 7 Seven
- "Boss, we've got her." Selena said in her usual robotic tone. She stood before Marco, while Ezekiel casually made himself comfortable beside the man.
- Marco gave him a warning look and said, "Whatever you do, keep a good distance away from me. If I get even a whiff of your over the top perfume again, I'll throw you out and blacklist you."
- Hearing his ice cold tone of voice, Ezekiel respected himself and shifted away from him.
- He might as well die if he was blacklisted.
- Now at a safe distance, he repeated Selena's words.
- "We've got your angel."
- Marco sighed, trying to control the sudden thrill that rushed through him.
- The red hair from earlier was finally in his house.
- "Good." Was all he said and waved a hand, dismissing Selena.
- Selena gave a slight bow and walked out of the living room, leaving Marco and Ezekiel alone.
- "Can I ask you something?" Ezekiel began, trying to come close to Marco, but remembering the warning and keeping his distance immediately.
- "No." Marco replied bluntly as he rose up to his feet, he gave Ezekiel a disdainful look.
- "Leave, you already fulfilled your purpose here. Tell father I won't be showing up for the dinner party tonight." He ordered and turned to walk towards the stairs.
- Ezekiel watched with a scowl on his face as Marco walked leisurely towards the stairs.
- "What a cold guy." He muttered and snorted. He looked away and stared at his nails instead.
- "I'd rather stare at my nails all day, they look prettier than his face."
- The guards at the corner watched him sigh a side eye as he kept grumbling.
- After a while of mumbling a few incoherent words, he stood up and walked out of the living room.
- Marco strolled towards the room he knew she would be kept in. Knowing Selena, she wasn't a fan of hurting her fellow women, so she would often give lighter punishment and provide a better environment for them.
- Marco knew she wouldn't just take Alessia somewhere unsafe, so he trusted Selena with Alessia.
- Once he arrived at the entrance of the room, he glanced at the door, just about to reach for the handle when an image flashed in his mind.
- "Mr... You smell so nice, I want you to fuck me."
- A small smile spread across his face the moment her earlier bold words drifted into his mind.
- She was bold, very bold to say that to him.
- What if she had met another man that night? Would she have said the same thing to the man if she found his scent intoxicating as well?
- His fist clenched on their own accord the moment those thoughts crossed his mind.
- Would she have allowed another man touch her the way he did last night?
- Come to think of it, why did she even come to the club to sleep with a random person she never knew her entire life?
- "Seems the little pet has a lot of explanations to give." He muttered and finally reached for the door handle.
- She was in for a surprise if only she had woken up.
- Of course she must have seen his face the moment she woke up first at Devil’s Den.
- He suddenly tensed up when he remembered what else was entangled in his clothes last night.
- "Oh fuck!" He whisper yelled, running a hand through his hair.
- Did she see the gun?
- That would be disastrous if she really did.
- He glanced at the door again, then at his hand.
- "Only one way to find out," He muttered again and reached for the door handle again.
- He twisted and pushed it backwards.
- But to his uttermost surprise, she was awake. Not just awake, but about to make a run for the door.
- He had always been a fan of surprises, and surprising her was like a huge accomplishment, one that couldn't be compared to the battles and wars he had won from every rival war he had.
- "Surprise?" He said, flashing her a smile, also waiting patiently for a reaction.
- A normal girl would burst into tears at once and ask who he was and what he wanted from her.
- But to his surprise yet again, she screamed and ran back into the room.
- Alessia glanced around and saw the window slightly ajar.
- Without thinking, she sprinted towards the window instead, aiming to jump from it than stay in the same room as a criminal.
- That explained why those men caught her, it turns out that she had indeed met a criminal unknowingly.
- Who knew what job Marco did for a living.
- He could be a thief, an armed robber or even worse, a kidnapper.
- That gun she saw in his pants spoke volumes, and she needed to hide from such a person, no matter what.
- He might kill her if she tried to act stupid.
- Marco seeing what she was upto, panicked and rushed after her towards the window.
- Alessia who had reached the window suddenly paused when she saw the surrounding area.
- She froze in her tracks, not being able to move any longer.
- First of, the premises was filled with men dressed as soldiers and they were all armed, guarding the area with Ski masks covering their faces.
- Her jaw dropped open at the sight. Was this a military camp or something?
- "Even if you jump from there, my men will break your fall and bring you back to me." His voice finally pulled her out of her train of thoughts.
- She flinched and turned to face him.
- His men? Those military looking men were his men?
- So, they were all criminals?
- Alessia face palmed herself mentally, knowing she had messed things up. The first time she heard those warning signs of staying away, she had neglected it instead of heeding to the call.
- And now, they've captured her.
- But what was the stranger's aim for capturing her?
- She had always heard from Grace how different ladies end up having one night stands with men at the club, and they go their separate ways at sunrise.
- But this stranger sent people after her.
- She steeled her resolve and cleared her throat before asking, "Who... Who are you and what do you want from me?"
- Marco heard the nervousness in her tone and smiled.
- Honestly, he couldn't figure out why he asked for her to be brought to him.
- But he wanted to be sure of his thoughts.
- He slept with her and got a long hour of sleep after so many years of having little sleep.
- There were two options.
- Either he had been cured, or she was the only remedy for his insomnia.
- But if eventually he was cured, would he let her go?
- The memories of the night spent with her, her red hair littered on his pillow and the way she moaned each time he thrusted into her. They would be forever etched in his mind.
- After staying silent for God knows how long, he took a step closer to her.
- She tried to escape, but she was trapped between him and the wall behind her.
- Once he was close enough, his strong colonge hitting her nostrils, he leaned into her as if to kiss her, then whispered softly.
- "I want you..."
