Chapter 31

• “Anna, are you listening to me?”
• Andrea bit her lower lip as she glanced down at her hand and wrist. The wounds on her knuckles were too visible but the one around her wrist remained unseen by Maggie. She placed her hand under the faucet, letting the cold water run down and clean her wounds.
• Still not answering Maggie’s questions, Andrea pulled out any medicine she could find from Maggie’s cupboard and wrapped her wrist and right hand carefully.
