• I stood there, trying to process the whirlwind of emotions Williams' sudden apology and offer of freedom had unleashed. I was shocked, confused, and struggling to make sense of his drastic change in behavior.
• From his nonchalance about me lying on his bed without permission to the helicopter ride and now this, I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to it and not just because of our fight last night. When I couldn't think of any solid reason behind his actions, I decided to brush it aside for a moment and ask him about something that had been bothering me since that night he drove me out in the middle of our intimacy.
