• I pushed open the door and i was taken aback by the scene before me. Williams had Mia pinned against the wall, his hand around her neck, and his face inches from hers. I felt a surge of anger and...something else. Something I couldn't quite explain.
• I felt a pang of pain in my heart as I mouthed an apology, though I wasn't sure why I was apologizing. Seeing Williams like that, his eyes blazing with intensity, made my heart race and my skin tingled with unease. How could he be so close and passionate with her when he'd been nothing but cold and cruel to me, his wife?
