Chapter 33 Mentally Ill Mother

• The taxi soon stopped at Fifth City Hospital’s entrance; Chloe got out of the taxi and rushed into the hospital without having enough time to close the car door. After making several turns, she quickly found the ward belonging to her mother. However, she could hear the sad and shrill cries and the sound of things being smashed in the ward from a distance away while still in the corridor.
• Chloe quickened her pace and showed up at the door to the ward to see many nurses trying to subdue her mentally ill mother inside. “Mom!” She ran up to them and grabbed the woman surrounded by the nurses, who had gone insane and was in a state of madness with her hair unkempt and her face contorted.
• What’s wrong? It’s been a long time since Mom last had a psychotic episode, Chloe thought to herself.
