• Chloe felt a sturdy arm wrapping itself around her waist as it held her firmly and took her inside right now; she knew from the peppermint scent and the warmth of his chest that the man was none other than Morgan. His unique voice sounded distant and noble despite its steadiness and calmness, and he became a presence that people looked up to merely by standing there.
• “Morgan, could you let go of me now that we’re inside?” She struggled a little. She couldn’t help feeling that those who walked past them were sizing them up curiously as she walked inside the hotel while being held in his arms. It displeased her a lot, for she couldn’t help feeling as though she was a mistress whom he had taken out for a stroll.
• Morgan chuckled, but instead of letting her go, he tightened his arm around her slim waist and took her into his arms. “You’ll probably be asked to leave this place the moment I let go of you.”
