Chapter 8 Allacia, Will You Be My Woman?

  • Due to his lack of a mother figure, Levell didn't place much importance on birthdays. This time, however, he took the initiative to mention his birthday for the first time.
  • Little did he know, Allacia had suffered even greater harm.
  • After finishing his cake, he returned to his room feeling unwell.
  • As night fell, an unfamiliar number illuminated the screen of Zishan's phone.
  • "Mr. Lloyd, please, I need your help!"
  • The woman's desperate pleas tugged at his heartstrings despite his initial determination to ignore her.
  • After a prolonged silence, his voice emerged hoarse and weighted with emotion, "I can help you, but there's a condition."
  • Moments later, he ended the call and ordered the helicopter to be prepared.
  • "Daddy, was that Mommy on the phone? Wherever you're going, I want to go too!" Levell, having heard the commotion, rushed over as well.
  • Zishan's gaze bore into him, a mix of disbelief and scrutiny evident in his eyes. "Didn't you say you never wanted to see her again?"
  • "I-I was just... upset! Mommy means everything to me. How could I even think of staying away?" Levell stammered, his cheeks flushed as he retreated into Zishan's embrace, his words muffled against his chest.
  • It was apparent that his son's sentiments toward Allacia mirrored his own more than he had expected.
  • With urgency pressing upon them, Zishan wasted no time. He swiftly draped a coat over Levell's shoulders, and together, they boarded a helicopter.
  • Ten minutes later, three helicopters touched down on the rugged mountainside.
  • Once the cabin doors swung open, two figures emerged. One towering and imposing, the other small and delicate. The lead man exuded an air of authority in his sleek black suit as he strode purposefully. His impeccably chiseled features and deep, enigmatic eyes hinted at concealed danger.
  • Allacia's quivering body found an unexpected steadiness as her gaze met Zishan's. It was as though he held the key to her calm amidst chaos.
  • Levell broke free from Zishan's grasp and dashed forward eagerly, his heart pounding with concern for Allacia.
  • "Mommy, you're hurt! Look, you're covered in blood!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with worry.
  • Allacia shook her head reassuringly. "I'm alright."
  • Meanwhile, Daniel had recklessly swerved into the path of an oncoming truck, though he eventually managed to veer away at the last moment. Hence, subjecting himself to the brunt of the impact. Nonetheless, the car tumbled off the mountain road, leaving the truck driver fearing trouble and fleeing the scene.
  • After several hours of unconsciousness, Allacia finally woke up and her first instinct was to reach out to Zishan.
  • Grateful for his timely intervention, she had doubted whether he would even care whether she lived or died.
  • As she raised her gaze, she met the intense stare of the man before her, and a surge of warmth flooded her heart.
  • "Thank you, Mr. Lloyd. Your intervention saved my life," she expressed, her words soft and filled with genuine appreciation, and her voice was barely above a whisper.
  • Zishan's response was stoic silence. He furrowed his brow as his eyes briefly flitted to her injuries before he signaled for a doctor to tend to her wounds.
  • Sensing his urgency, Allacia interjected, her voice tinged with pragmatic concern, "There's no need to rush to my aid. There is a person injured in the car. Besides, I'm unmarried... Mr. Kleffton's condition is far more dire."
  • Her words dripped with indifference toward Daniel, and her emotions were buried beneath a veneer of practicality.
  • A shadow crossed Zishan's face at her mention of Daniel, and his tone turned frigid as he remarked, "It seems like you have deep-rooted feelings for your fiancé!"
  • "No!" She retorted vehemently, her resolve unyielding. "I spared his life so I could bring him to justice for attempted murder!"
  • Daniel's actions had nearly taken her life, and even his last-minute act of heroism couldn't absolve him of his crimes in her eyes.
  • Zishan regarded her with a penetrating gaze before instructing his men to arrange for Daniel's rescue.
  • Daniel was seriously injured as he lay on the ground, his body pierced by countless shards of broken glass.
  • A squad of guards sprang into action and swiftly whisked him away. They loaded him onto one of the waiting helicopters, which then soared into the sky and disappeared into the clouds.
  • Allacia had injured her foot and it was difficult to walk. By her side, Levell offered his arm to help support and his expression was filled with concern as he witnessed her discomfort.
  • Reflecting on the afternoon's misunderstanding, when she had initially declined to attend his birthday celebration, a pang of guilt tugged at Levell's heart.
  • "Mommy, I'm so sorry..." he began, his voice laced with regret.
  • "Sorry for what? Oh, that's right! Today is your birthday!" She exclaimed, a sudden realization dawning upon her. "I should be the one apologizing. I couldn't make it to your birthday party, and I even ruined the gift I had prepared for you."
  • "Hehe, Mommy, just having you here with me on my birthday is the greatest gift of all."
  • Levell's laughter resonated with pure joy, his heart overflowing with gratitude and happiness.
  • Allacia felt a burden lift from her shoulders, though she vowed to make it up to him with a gift in the days to come.
  • As the two of them ambled along at a leisurely pace, Zishan's impatience became noticeable, and his irritation simmered beneath the surface. Without hesitation, he swooped in, his arms encircling her waist in a possessive embrace, and said in a gruff voice tinged with genuine concern, "Silly woman, why didn't you tell me walking was difficult for you?"
  • "I don't need any help, I can manage on my own..." Allacia's attempt at resistance faltered under the steely gaze of the man before her.
  • Fine, she conceded silently. I'll allow the scion of the Lloyd Family to assist me just this once…
  • Having narrowly escaped death, her heart was a tumult of unspoken fear as she leaned her head on his strong chest next to her to feel safe and calm.
  • They boarded the awaiting helicopter and swiftly descended upon the hospital.
  • Allacia encountered Denea in the hospital lobby.
  • "Mommy! Mommy!" Denea's cries echoed through the air when she caught sight of Allacia, who was covered in blood.
  • "Sweetheart, don't be scared. Mommy's fine. Are you hurt?" Allacia's voice quivered with relief as she reached out to soothe Denea.
  • When she called Zishan for assistance, her plea was fueled by one clear goal: to rescue Denea.
  • "I'm okay, Mommy. Let's go see the doctor. You're bleeding," Denea insisted, her tone tinged with concern.
  • Allacia's eyes swept over Denea, ensuring her safety, before turning her attention to her own wounds. The clock ticked away the hours until late at night when she finally managed to sort things out.
  • Levell and Denea were both sound asleep.
  • Gently running her fingers through Levell's silky hair, Allacia leaned in close and whispered, her voice barely audible, "What do you think about spending the night at my place?"
  • The moment the words left her lips, she felt the weight of Zishan's gaze upon her. It sent a shiver down her spine.
  • She stammered nervously and continued, "I-I mean, it's just that my place is closer, only a ten-minute drive away..."
  • Zishan nodded in agreement and gestured for his guards to take charge of the two sleeping children while he personally escorted Allacia.
  • The car ride was enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere, the soft notes of a piano filling the space with a soothing melody. But she couldn't immerse herself in the music very well due to the intense presence of the man beside her.
  • His brooding gaze pierced through the darkness, and he occasionally glanced at her in the rearview mirror. Each look was filled with unspoken emotions that stirred something deep within her.
  • Allacia ran a hand through her hair. Hence, breaking the silence that hung heavy in the air. "I really appreciate what you did today," she murmured.
  • Zishan remained silent for a long while, his demeanor heavy with an icy chill as he finally spoke, "Remember one of my conditions?"
  • Her voice faltered, a mix of anxiety and apprehension, as she replied, "What is it..." Reluctantly, she had conceded to one of his demands in her quest to enlist his aid.
  • Allacia's already tense back stiffened further, and her breath hitched in her throat.
  • After he pulled the car to a stop outside the apartment complex, he leaned in closer to her.
  • Her long hair fell in a mess around her shoulders which added an untamed allure to her already captivating features. Her eyes held a magnetic allure, her lashes fluttering like delicate butterflies, while her nose and lips possessed a sculpted perfection that was both enticing and irresistible...
  • Unable to suppress the surge of desire, he cleared his throat, and his resolve waned in the face of temptation. Before she could evade him, his large hand seized her head, pulled her forcefully toward him, and his lips crashed down upon hers in a fervent kiss.
  • "Mmm~"
  • A soft moan escaped her lips as she yielded to the intensity of his embrace. Her head was forced to tilt back to endure his fervent kiss.
  • This time, she made no attempt to resist. She thought this was his condition.
  • The kiss stretched on for what felt like an eternity as she felt the heat radiating from his body.
  • Reluctantly pulling away, his gaze smoldered with an intensity that seemed to ignite flames within.
  • "Allacia, I want you to be mine," he declared, his tone brooking no argument. "You have three days to consider. If you refuse, I'll take you away by force."
  • Allacia's heart skipped a beat. She was shocked by his ultimatum. She lowered her gaze and murmured, "Why me? Why must it be me?"
  • "If you want to know the reason, fine! I'll tell you!" His broad hand guided her small hand to rest upon his dick. With deliberate emphasis, he spoke, his voice grave and resolute. "Because only you can awaken it."
