• I rose from bed and glanced out the window, only to see Hailey standing there. Surprisingly, Tania was refusing to let her in, so I opened the window and shouted, "Let her in!" Then, I went downstairs.
• Kevin heard the commotion and followed me. Hailey and I made eye contact, and we put on a show for everyone.
• "I missed you, Danielle. I only found out you were back after I went to Sunbury," Hailey said, placing a large bag of items and a box of toys on the coffee table before coming over to hug me. "You should have called."
