Chapter 20 Investigating Kevin's Actions

• Upon discovering my relationship with Kevin, my parents strongly disapproved of his career as a stylist. In their eyes, he was merely someone who spent his days idly, dressed in unconventional attire and making questionable connections. They deemed him unreliable.
• Furthermore, Kevin hailed from an average family. The Diazes, a large family, consisted of Kevin, his older brother, younger brother, and younger sister. Despite their number, none of them excelled academically.
• Kevin had abandoned high school to pursue hairstyling, a profession my parents did not endorse. They attempted to persuade me to end the relationship.
