• “Layla, aren't you ready to go home yet?”
• Jay broke her train of thoughts when he knocked on her door and signed the statement, she took a very deep breath in and forced a smile, but this time he could tell that it was fake, “it is almost 12am Layla. You have been staying back a lot these days, aren't you tired?” he asked her more questions, and how on earth would she begin to answer them without crying?
• Yes she was tired, she was tired of work, sleeping with people she didn't even want to be around, she was tired that she no longer enjoyed her job, and she was tired of staying away from Katrina. She missed her so much and she never had the courage to pick her calls after what she did to her.
