• “Please don’t be overly anxious.” Sergeant Lee comforted Master Porter calmly. “We share the same opinion, Young Master Henry cannot be the murderer. Besides, he has an alibi. As to why his fingerprints were on the fruit knife, we deduced that he had used the knife before the victim had stolen it away. According to the surveillance footage, nobody was near the victim, so she might’ve committed suicide.”
• Sergeant Lee’s analysis eased everyone’s tensed nerves. However, what he was about to say made everyone’s heart skip a beat once again.
• “That’s all we can deduce for the time being. We don’t have any other evidence and couldn’t find the reason behind the suicide, so we will carry on with our investigation. We will solve the case, by hook or by crook.”
