- She was a fighter, she fought for herself all these years, she fought for her education and clothes, for her house and car but that day in Court, they killed her they killed everything in her now the only thing that is remaining in her is only hate and revenge which is not good for a person’s mental health but that’s what is keeping her alive.
- Patrick broke down in tears also when he heard her answer, he knew that what ever they did to make her say that was hard for any human being to go through it and to make it worse for her she went through it alone. He tried his best to be courageous and not show her how hurt and broken he was because of her and said, “no she’s not dead, she just needs someone to tell her she’s there, she’s not coward or someone to walk on, she’s strong, she’s courageous, she can overcome anything, she’s a winner, she has always been and she will always be, you’re Julie Williams, Williams never give up”, Patrick said trying to remind her of her worth and indeed it worked as a wake up call to her because she felt energetic at that moment that she could carry one hundred kilo grams of rice for a day without getting tired, she stared at him smiling without blinking wondering how he knows the right words to say to her whenever she’s down and feels like giving up on life.
- “It’s good to see you smiling in your condition”, the doctor said coming to where she was. They did not hear him knocking nor see him coming until he spoke. She blushed at that until she heard Patrick speaking, “in her condition?!, what do you mean by that?”, Patrick asked the doctor bringing her back to reality, she looked at the doctor also curious at his answer, the doctor raised his eyebrows at Patrick’s question and Julie’s curious face, “oh don’t tell me you don’t know your wife is two months pregnant?”, the doctor asked shocking them to their core. She did not even care that the doctor called her Patrick’s wife, she could not stop herself from shouting, “did you say pregnant!?, who is pregnant?”, she asked him her heart racing, “with a no I can’t be pregnant!”. She tried to remember the last time she received her periods but she could not remember when, because of the stress and prison, she did not notice that she has not seen her periods for so long.
