Chapter 11

• Throughout the entire meeting, he did not concentrate on anything they were talking about, his mind was thinking about Helena and how they will spend the evening together. His Father Mr Benjamin Parkers had to tap him trice to get him from his thoughts only to find all the board members looking at him like an alien. His assistant whispered to him that they are asking him a question on what they were discussing. Knowing that the board of directors were asking him some questions and he was not concentrating, he smiled shyly. He could not believe that he was so lost in his own world that he did not know what was going on around him, all his mind was on that one beautiful one of his dream. He knew he was looking like a fool right now by not answering them and he could not lie to them so the best he could do to save his image was to accept the truth, “I’m sorry, I was lost”, he said making his father shook his head indicating that he was disappointed in him.
• He knew that he was going to hear it from him but he did not care at that moment the only thing he was thinking was meeting his girl. The meeting continued but he was so bored, he did not even point out any mistake in all the graphs they represented as he always. He only wanted to leave the meeting and talk to his love.
• He almost Jumped when he heard his secretary or rather assistant saying, “the meeting is over”, he immediately took is tab and went to his office and his father followed him “we need to talk”, his dad said. He smiled at him knowing what was coming.
