Chapter 74 Proverbs With Ulterior Motive

• I watched the gorgeous male opposite me explain everything he had been up to for the past three days now, or almost. I looked at a small table in the living room and saw some books placed there, he had already explained what they were and what they contained. I'm still baffled as I digest everything he just told me. I never would have thought my dad would have done so much and even have no intention of telling any of them to me. Ander told me some main points of some rules when he was telling me about himself but what he told me this time was once more another rule I know nothing of.
• I now realized why my dad never bothered to disturb me to read all about the family rules before leaving town, something a head is supposed to know. He never even bothered. It's good that I know how everyone views me at him. And if it wasn't for that I wonder if he would have secretly taken control of the family once more leaving me as a figurehead. I wonder what he craves that makes him so reluctant to give up power. As I think about everything now I begin to wonder if he really loves me as he preaches, or he might but now doesn't anymore, or he still does but he loves control just as he loves me. If It's the last then it explains all his actions, if it's the middle then I don't know what to say, but if it's the first then he must have been a hell of a pretender.
