• Firstly, I should have never asked her for such a thing because she had no say in anything or decisions Jace made as they were not even close, but I guess I did that because of the trust and my total surrender to her making me forget myself. Secondly, asking an outsider to manipulate my way back as the family head protector is another failed rule I bridged as it won't only cause the said protector to lose his pay for twenty years but it will also cause the family to be distrustful towards the said protector from that moment onwards, and in sure Emma knows about that rule but she decided to wave it off cause she knows the hold she had on me.
• I know I have been arrogant and have done things that were a little above board but Jace has no right to my privacy so I don't know why he is angry for nothing because it's clear I did nothing wrong, or rather he knows nothing I did wrong aside from the fact that I know Emma and everything about her that I shouldn't know which Emma didn't tell me as she never talks to anyone and besides, those three years she broke up with Ashton she have never talked about the guy, so it was a little suspicious that I know but so what? Is that a big enough reason to switch me? But I was calm throughout the time and have been thinking about where I slipped because I know Jace is wise and won't do things without reason. Besides, his mood when he was trying to switch me was clear how much he loved me and wanted me to stay and his hesitation even at that moment when he was waiting for me to open up was another indication.
