• "Dad please..." I pleaded but he made no sound and did not even bother to open his eyes. I tried to formulate a lie but I know it won't work. The dangerous part of it is after formulating the lie and they figured it was a lie after some investigation, then I will truly be guilty of lying and deceiving the family. I fear that as long my dad doesn't help me returning to Jace's protector is near impossible unless he steps in which is what I thought he originally wanted to do when he called me.
