Chapter 43

• Lyca carefully left the room, and before she ran, she looked to her left and side. "I only have an hour, or else the woman won't talk," she said under her breath as she hurried down the hall to the royal kitchen. Lucky for Lyca, she didn't meet one of Albert and Wesley's friends. If she had, she would have a hard time explaining, or even worse; they wouldn't believe her no matter what she said.
• One of the staff in the royal kitchen bowed and asked, "Your Grace, what are you doing here?"
• "I've come to ask for food... I wanted to make my late father an offer. Can you give me a hand?" Lyca asked in a quiet voice.
