• "I, Xavier Nightingale, renounce Adam and Jace Smith in my pack... From now on, neither of you would have anything to do with me!"
• "Is that it? Are you sure you can't control us anymore?" When Xavier was done talking, Adam didn't try to hide his doubt.
• "Huh! No one is going to attack us after all...!" Jace answered back and snorted while he checked himself out. Before they made their decision, it made his heart beat faster. Now that it's over and he doesn't feel any different, his breathing is back to normal.
