Chapter 23

• Wesley said, "I don't know. My memory from last night is fuzzy and unclear, and I don't know how I got back here." The last thing he could remember was eating the food he and Jaxson had found in the forest. Wesley has been looking at his hand since the beginning of his story.
• "How about the blood in your body? We thought you were serious because you were covered in blood," Kai replied as he handed Wesley the glass of water.
• Wesley went back to being quiet and started to think about things. He tried to remember what had happened, but no matter how hard he tried, nothing came to mind. He could only see himself walking back to his house.
