Chapter 54 Noah

• The moment Noah woke up, he shifted his gaze over to the other side of the line of futons. His expression softened when his eyes came to rest on Haru. The boy was hugging Aki in his arms, his beautiful face serene during sleep.
• Noah wished he could continue to sit there and watch the boy. Even better, having the boy in his arms like yesterday morning, and better yet, kissing him. But fuck, he couldn’t do either of those things. First, Haru didn’t belong to him, at least not yet. And second, he had a job to get to. It was Monday, after all.
• He scanned the room and noted Aiden and Reo were already out of their makeshift beds and gone. They both were probably at the gym on the thirtieth floor of the apartment building. He’d love to join them and do a bit of workout himself, but unfortunately not today. He needed to get to the office early. He had a presentation, along with a few other members of the marketing team, pitching proposals for a new campaign to promote The Princeton Hotels and Resorts across America, and he needed to get it exactly perfect. Noah was a perfectionist, after all.
