Chapter 8 A Beautiful Morning With Him

• It was early in the morning, bright golden sunlight was peeking through the slightly ajar curtains. In the huge room two bodies were entangled with each other, sleeping peacefully in each other's embrace. It was such a captivating scene!
• After a while Celeste opened her eyes slowly while trying to adjust her eyes to face the bright morning light. She tried to stretch her body to get rid of the sleepiness but couldn't move an inch. A heavy arm was wrapped securely around her tiny waist preventing herself from moving. A beautiful smile broke into her face when she realized who it was. Immediately last night's passionate scene's flashed through her brain, making her go all red. She tried to move but Liam who was hugging her tightly buried his face deeper in her neck, making it almost impossible for her to move. She sighed when she failed to get herself freed from his hold. After a few careful attempts she finally untangled herself successfully from Liam without waking him up. She quickly got up and tried to walk straight to the washroom. But as soon as she stood up on her pain she felt the slight pain and soreness in between her legs. She flinched a bit before managing to enter the bathroom. She quickly stood in front of the washroom mirror to brush her teeth first. But no sooner had she faced the mirror than her eyes went wide in utter shock. His whole neck and shoulder was covered in red hickeys. She touched those red spots and sighed. She couldn't wear anything that showed her neck or shoulder if she were to go outside for any reason. After brushing her teeth she switched on the shower to have a warm relaxing bath.
• When Celeste came out of the washroom wearing one of Liam's shirts which reached just above her knees. She noticed Liam was still sleeping peacefully and decided to let him sleep for a while. She let her hair air dry and headed straight to the kitchen to cook some breakfast for them. She was super hungry. Her stomach growled thinking of the food. After reaching the kitchen she decided to cook some Chinese chicken Congee, some veggies and eggs. She always ate what she liked without caring about anything else.

• When Liam entered the living room after freshening up he was immediately met with a strong smell of food. He moved his body towards the kitchen with a small smile. He knew it was Celeste who was cooking. He had already tasted her food and it was amazing. When he reached the kitchen he found Celeste swaying her body softly humming some songs while cooking. The scene was truly enchanting. Celeste didn't notice his presence and he also didn't notice how long he was watching her cook looking so captivating and beautiful. Maybe sensing his presence suddenly she turned around.
• Celeste's frown turned into a soft smile when she noticed Liam was standing behind her.
• "Good morning, I'm almost done cooking." She said with a smile while turning off the gas stove. She turned around to look at him when he opened his mouth.
• "You look better in my shirt." His deep morning voice reached her ears. Immediately heat crept up on her face making her go all red. She didn't even realise she was wearing Liam's shirt. She didn't know why but Liam's voice had a teasing tone. When he looked up at him, the corner of his lips were curled up.
• "Uhmm thanks. I will set the table." She mumbled in a shy tone while taking a few dishes on her hand and moving towards the dining table. She could hear him chuckle lowly and then follow her out of the kitchen. She found him bringing the rest of dishes and placing them on the dining table. She smiled softly and he too nodded before both of them took a seat across each other.
• "I cooked some Chinese chicken congee. I hope you don't mind." Celeste said while handing him a bowl of congee. Liam took the bowl from her and smiled before answering.
• "It's ok. I'm not a picky eater." He said and took a spoonful of congee in his mouth. As expected it was really delicious.
• "I was wondering if I could go and visit my grandma today? I haven't seen her since our wedding day." Celeste stated casually while eating her food. She really missed her grandma. It's been almost one month since she left her in Elora. She looked up at Liam who was eating gracefully. His hair was still wet from the shower he had taken maybe a few minutes ago. She got the moment to notice his appearance closely. He was wearing a white tee shirt and grey sweatpants. Still he managed to look heavenly handsome.
• "You don't need to ask me for permission. You can go whenever you miss her." Liam replied in his deep yet serious voice. Hearing his voice came out of her trance and nodded with a smile.
• Ok. Will you go with me? She will be happy to see you but I won't force you if you are busy." Celeste spoke her sentences softly and waited for him to reply. She didn't know if he would agree or not since he was such a busy person.
• "Ok. We will leave after breakfast so that we can come back before dinner." Liam informed getting up from his seat as he had already finished eating his food.
• "Sure. Thank you." Celeste replied gratefully in a happy tone. She was really happy to be able to meet her grandma after such a long time. Though they had talked over the phone almost everyday still she missed her terribly. Liam nodded and headed to their room. Celeste too got up and picked up the dirty dishes and kept them in the sink before heading to her and Liam's bedroom to get ready to visit her beloved grandma and Elora.
