Chapter 13 The Party

• Looking through the bunch of clothes Celeste heaved a sigh. It was already afternoon and still she couldn’t find anything suitable to wear in the party. She was not good at dressing up. She always wore whatever she found comfortable. But that day she couldn’t find anything she liked. To be honest she was a little bit concerned about what to wear and how to dress. She knew it was an important event for Liam and his business so she must dress properly. Biting one of her fingers she again started looking throughout her whole closet for a few minutes. All of sudden her eyes stuck on a Champagne colour dress. She pulled it out and stared at it for a while. It was made of net and soft georgette and reached below her knees. It was quite simple yet pretty. It had a thin strap which crossed her neck to her back. Celeste pulled out the dress and held it over her body in front of the full body mirror. She twirled around with the dress on her and smiled brightly. It looked good on her.
• She quickly yet carefully put the dress on before doing her makeup. She simply straightened her hair and let it stay open. She put on light makeup and red lipstick. She didn’t wear any jewelleries except her two rings and a pair of diamond stud earrings. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled at herself. She looked good enough. She was about to wear her shoes when all of sudden her phone started to ring. She moved towards the bed where her phone was lying and picked it up. It was Liam. She quickly answered the call before it could disconnect and held the phone near her right ear.
• "Hello?" She called out lightly and waited for him to say something.
